I am the biggest geek ever. I finally got out for a run after several days of, well, not running and I am blissfully happy!
Just me, a little Fleetwood Mac, and Prince. It was awesome.
See? Geeksville!
After I got back, I did a little garden walk-about to see how things are looking. While it’s technically not “early spring”anymore, it’s still pretty early in the gardening game in Minnesota. I will say that it finally is looking like spring around here. The crabapple trees and lilac bushes are starting to bloom, and everything is greening up – including the weeds in the south garden taunting me!
My tiny little columbine is packing big color. Consider it my unexpected tribute to Prince.
The hostas on the north side are starting to pop up.
This hosta is a bit faster on the growth scale. Love this bright green color!
We don’t have a crabapple tree so I “borrowed” this one from my next door neighbor. So pretty and we get to look at it everyday too!
I’m chomping at the bit to get my hands in the dirt this weekend – I have onions sets, yellow beans, squash and carrot seeds calling my name, along with all the annuals I purchased last weekend.
Is it Friday yet?
