Those who know me best know that I do have a bit of a thing for shoes. 😉
I think it’s fair to say, though, that my closet is not overloaded with shoes. I am particular about what I buy. And I’d say I’ve also moved away from sky high heels, which were somehow super fun (but rather impractical) several years ago, toward more wearable (but still fun and cute!) sandals, wedges, and flats. In fact, my favorite shoes right now are a pair of paisley chambray blue slip-on sneakers that I adore with dresses, skirts, and cropped pants.
For Mother’s Day, my husband (the brilliant man that he is) bought me a DSW Shoe Warehouse gift card and told me to go shopping. I love that man.

Anyway, here are those fabulous animal print sandals (they are more of a flatform, which you can’t see in this photo – great for added height but with all the comfort of a flat!) with a blue denim/tencel dress I found at Marshall’s recently:

And these! Don’t be afraid of all white summer sandals, people. I love the ankle straps on these.
Thank goodness it is finally sandal season in Minnesota. As much as I love my boots, it’s time to switch it up for a few months.
