The whirlwind known as December continues and I only half in jest ask what day it actually is. 😉 Between my day job and my LuLaRoe business, the days are flying by and I haven’t had much time to blog. Add the holidays into the mix and all I can say is: thank goodness for online shopping. I’m quite sure there wouldn’t be any presents under the Christmas tree without it.
No complaints, mind you … just busy, busy, busy – with very little time to bake Christmas treats or make lefse. (Gasp!) However, I know you will all be glad to hear that I have staked out Friday as “Lefse Day” at our house and I can’t wait!
My LuLaRoe business has been exciting and exhausting and off to a very good start. It’s quite a thrill to have something like this to call my very own and I’m looking forward to the next few months. If you’d like to join my Facebook group to see what all the fuss is about, click here.
For now, let us recap (via photos) our weekend, shall we, which can be summed up in two words, weather-wise: BRUTALLY COLD. (As in, we woke up to -24 actual air temperature this morning at 8 am.) We didn’t let this stop us, though, from enjoying some holiday cheer with family, as you will see. We’re tough like that. 😉
These two. We met Miss Morgan and her mom and dad Friday night for “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer – The Musical” at Stages Theatre in Hopkins. It was such a fun performance – we would highly recommend it, for all ages!
Here’s the whole crew before the show started!
My Saturday morning … sipping a little peppermint mocha and organizing my LuLaRoe inventory photos from my Facebook Pop-Up Album sale, scheduled for later that afternoon.
And wait! Here I am again … fast-forward about six hours. It’s Happy Hour and LuLaRoe sale time! 😉
Sunday was birthday party day for Miss Morgan, who turns three on Wednesday. We headed out in the bitterly cold temps because no one was going to stop us from helping this sassy little gal celebrate!
An Elsa / Morgan cake … what more could a 3-year-old want?
Hey look – it’s my Dad and Teacher Man!
My brother’s newest English Bulldog, Princess Leia … sporting a new Georgia Bulldogs outfit for the birthday party.
Random. Here’s a LuLaRoe “Carly” dress I’m currently obsessed with in my inventory. It’s the super buttery soft leggings material so it would be sooooo comfy and warm. Someone has to snatch this up and buy it – it’s amazing! 😉
And finally … this is our freezer right now. Seriously. Our fridge/freezer went kaput and, unfortunately, there has been a 2+ week wait on delivery of the new one. Thankfully (I guess?) we have been able to fully rely on Mother Nature to keep our frozen food frozen! 😉 Me personally? I can’t wait for the new fridge to get here on Wednesday.
Have a great week, friends!
