And so this weekend kicked off my spring break – and the next five workdays off! I’m not going anywhere. (Well, unless you count running errands about town.) And I am mostly okay with this.
Sure, I hate Facebook right now because everyone is posting pictures from the beaches of Florida and Mexico. Whatevs.
I’m actually pretty happy to have a few days at home to go about my own little schedule – and Joe’s as he has the week off too. That means I can run to Caribou and grab us a couple of fun beverages whenever I want. And it also means I’m going to hit up a matinee of Beauty and the Beast!
Plus I’m planning to work on my LuLaRoe business … I have plenty to do for that and I’m quite excited, actually, to have some uninterrupted time to get organized, do a photo shoot or two, re-shoot some of my inventory photos, and plan some fun ideas from my Facebook shopping group (here).
Unrelated to any of this, if you are looking for a fabulous salmon recipe, look no further than Ina Garten’s Panko Crusted Salmon – it is absolutely amazing and full of flavor! 🙂
In the meantime, here’s an update from the weekend:
Teacher Man, Joe and I went out to eat Friday night – we love the burgers and tots (well, and everything else on the menu – ha!) at Bunker’s!
The Brunch Burger includes an egg and bacon on top of a cheeseburger … this is fabulous, my friends! And those tots – oh my those tots!
Saturday morning the weather was gorgeous so off to the golf course we went to play a nine holes … a favorite family activity.
Later, Teacher Man and I hit up Hayes Public House for a little happy hour date, where we shared the sampler.
And this is what I get (on purpose) when I ask my husband to take a picture of me in my LuLaRoe outfit. 😉
Ah yes, this is better!
Teacher Man was busy over his spring break, making me this gorgeous table for our deck as well as putting new lights. I love this look! (And the new run we ordered from Wayfair.com is a great addition too.)
I can’t wait to get the rest of our deck furniture out – and for it to warm up enough for potted flowers!
Hope you have a fabulous start to the week, friends!
xoxo
