Happy Easter!
You guys. I just finished watching Jesus Christ Superstar (live on NBC tonight) and it was amazing. AMAZING. Like, seriously legit – in such a way that I can’t stop thinking about it and all the music is in my head right now. I am still in awe of all the talent on that stage. And man, do I wish I could sing like that!
What an amazing way to end Easter weekend. We were out at the farm Saturday and Sunday, and we had a wonderful time hanging with family. The proof is in the photos! 😉
Joe and his cousins, Morgan and Audree, had a great time decorating Easter eggs – although I think my sister’s dog, Avery, was eyeing up the eggs for a different reason!
And look … after 15 takes, I snuck a picture of Joe smiling with his momma! 😉
My Mom’s Easter table was beautiful!
And because I love carbs so much, I had to take a picture of the rolls … yum!
And deviled eggs are a must!
As is hunting for chocolate eggs left by the Easter Bunny while we were in church!
Apparently Morgan was a little concerned I might pilfer a chocolate egg or two! Ha!
Joe was more concerned about eating a real breakfast after church … and for him, that means Cheerios wins out over egg bake and pastries. (Whaaat? I know. Sometimes I wonder how this boy is my son?!)
Did someone mention Easter mimosas?
Why yes, I believe so! (Thanks, Dad!)
And the obligatory family picture … my boys clean up nice, I’d say!
I hope you had a wonderful weekend as well … stay turned this week for a new Turkey Tuesday recipe post — it’s going to be a good one!
Happy Easter and Happy Passover!
