I’m back from my work trip/vacation and have a ton of photos to share. But first … I took some pics of my gardens tonight. The lighting was perfect – the mosquitos were not. (I risked a zillion bites for all these photos! Ha!) I’ll be back soon to write about our East Coast road trip but for now, I hope you enjoy my flowers, which are looking awfully pretty even after 10 days of neglect! 😉

** Huge thanks goes to our friend Al who stopped by our house often to check on things and water all my pots while we were gone!
Beautiful! You have the touch….like Mom, like daughter!!!
Thanks Kathy – I will take that compliment for sure! 😀

Always enjoy reading your blog….. You have so many talents!
I am curious what kind of flowers are in the first two pics in this current blog?
Happy Summer!
Hi Cheryl,
Thank you so much – I’m glad you enjoy the blog. It’s my creative outlet for sure and I love it. 🙂
The first flower is a begonia – “dragon-wing”, I believe. Isn’t it lovely? It really is one of the easiest annuals to grow. This one gets quite a bit of shade for a large part of the day but then gets hit with the west sun later in the day – and it’s still gorgeous!!
The second flower is a lantana – I love how tough it is. This one is also on the west side of my house so gets sun, heat, and wind and handles it all quite well! 🙂
Hope this helps!
