It was a miserable weekend, weather-wise … 40s and cold rain. Is this really May 21? But on the flip-side, my cousin and her daughter visited from Iowa and it was a blast to see them!
Plus … my 13-year-old had his first date! I know – whaaaat? He and a girl went to the movies along with several other friends and apparently, at least from what I can surmise, it all went pretty well. Eeeek! Not sure I’m ready for all this! 😉
After my cousin and her daughter left today, I bundled up in my fleece, a scarf, and winter hat and headed outside to snap a few pics of the gardens. They were wet and a little dreary, but the lighting was awesome.
My poor succulents aren’t quite sure what to make of this May cold spell.
Not a plant but I just thought this was kind of a cool photo of the table on our deck. LOL
My columbine is almost done blooming but still so pretty.
The foliage of my asiastic lilies is pretty cool.
The peonies will bloom soon and I can’t wait!
Chives!
I can never take too many photos of my lilacs. I cut a bunch of blooms to bring in the house and the kitchen smells wonderful.
The Tiger Lily Sumac is starting to come in quite nicely – I love its bright chartreuse leaves.
A selfie amidst the lilacs. 😉
And now it’s Sunday night, I’m busy with a LuLaRoe sale on Facebook right now, and I will be getting up extra early to get to a meeting in Saint Paul at 7:00 am. Gah! Welcome to the work week!
Have a great start to your week, whatever it entails for you!
