Cheesy Buffalo Turkey Dip

Ingredients
  

  • 1.5 - 2 pounds Turkey breast cooked (and chopped or shredded)
  • 1 cup Buffalo sauce I use Frank's Red Hot brand
  • 2 8 ounce packages cream cheese, softened at room temperature
  • 1 cup Ranch dressing
  • 2 cups Cheddar cheese shredded (divided use)
  • Tortilla chips crackers or celery sticks for dipping

Method
 

  1. Combine the turkey and buffalo sauce in a mixing bowl and stir to combine.
  2. Blend in the cream cheese and ranch dressing until thoroughly mixed.
  3. Fold in 1 cup of Cheddar cheese.
  4. Spray a 9x9-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
  5. Pour turkey and cheese mixture into baking dish.
  6. Top with remaining 1 cup of Cheedar cheese.
  7. Bake 375 degrees for 25-30 minutes, until golden brown on top and 165 degrees F. on the inside
  8. Serve with chips, pita triangles, Naan dippers, crackers and/or celery sticks. We love Frito Scoops with this dip!

Notes

For this recipe, I bought 1.7 pounds of fresh turkey breasts from my local supermarket and baked these in the oven with a little salt and pepper for about 30-35 minutes, until they reached an internal temperature of 165 degrees. This recipe would work equally as well with leftover roast turkey, too -- or chicken breasts!
